Does LOST need fixing?

Agree or disagree?  New York Magazine runs this short-yet-inflammatory piece.  I think they [the production team] are going to have to do something sooner or later.  Maybe the plot w/ Penelope Whidmore and the Arctic station (if it ever gets revisited!) will offer some concrete answers?
...which would you rather tune in to next fall: a brand-new mystery from the creators of Lost, that entirely satisfying and thrilling limited-run series you loved? Or yet another season of Lost,
that show that started out so well but is now meandering all over the
damn place? Puzzles are meant to be solved, not prolonged. You can only
tease viewers so long before they feel like theyâ??re being mocked.
I don't feel like I'm being mocked.  Although the four-toed statue might've come close if they don't go back there....

Yeah I don't feel mocked either, I think everything will get answered, we just have to be patient and they will do it in their own sweet time. I LOVE the show and definitely want it to stay. Part of the fun of the show is discussing it and trying to figure it out.

This is the reaction of the unimaginative minds during the run of Twin Peaks. Just leave us to our mysteries. If you don't like it (NY Mag), then don't F..ing watch.

I'll bet they just swallow chocolate whole, too. Everybody knows you let it slowly and sensusally let it melt in your mouth, keeping the last little bit as long as possible.

Ahem, excuse me.

I have to say I agree with the article. I am a true Lost fan but I felt cheated this last 5 shows. Nothing was really revealed after the big hooplah before the premiere. They need to keep me excited or I'll just move on to other shows, my time is precious. Give me a reason to watch every week and if you are out of story to write, end it!! Boo Whooo, yeah I know, it's sad but true.

Maybe they need to think about bringing in some new writers or other consultants. I am still hooked on the show, but I do want some resolve. So often when I am watching the show I say "oh yeah...I remember that guy..." Someone who hasnt' been on the show since last season or something. So, still love the show, but maybe they need someone writing with a new perspective...spice things up a bit.

I love the show, but I would like to see it actually get somewhere. Don't get me wrong, one of the things that attracted me to Lost in the first place was the plot twists and mysteries. After a while though, the answers do need to come out. We have all been "patient" for three seasons. (or 2 1/2 I mean) So It would be nice to see how all this is going to wrap up. Without any loose ends...
