The Carl Film, Pt. 1
So, Exactly what was Carl watching with his eyelids propped open all Clockwork-Orange like. Lets take a look. Dialup users beware, lots of images follow.
I think I'll split this up over 2 or maybe three separate posts, just to keep it sane. There are a lot of things going on in that film.
Pardon the capture of my DVR GUI up there in the corner on some of 'em. I was taking screencaps on my MythTV frontend...
I will let you guys discuss to figure out if any of this means anything, because really I can't divine anything from it. Not this part anyway.

"Everything Changes" .. Ha! I get it! Change! Change is good, right? Unsure what these coins are or how old or anything.
More Change. A 1921 Silver Dollar maybe?
CDs and what is that? An old phonograph cylinder maybe? Remember, everything changes. 
An old wood stove. Unsure where we're going with this.
Not sure what that is. An old steam boiler of some kind maybe? Dunno.
A compass, for probably measuring distances on a map.
Looks like either an old organ, or a bunch of keyboards set next to each other. Can't really tell which.
A bunch of pictures of a galaxy (a black hole?) which are dancing around in an octagon shape (like the DHARMA logo!) The galaxies are replaced by something I can't tell what it is.
A porcelain doll face? Or a mannequin?

Definitely a doll's face. All three of these look similar. Wonder who its supposed to be?
Another shot of the mannequin. Is that a "15" on the white object on the left, upside down?
Barbie doll face?
Looks like a Thai or West Asian Buddha (not the chubby one!)
I dunno what this is. Another face related to the doll faces? Looks similar. Who's boyfriend was the artist?
The Moon. Obviously.
"We are the causes of our own suffering." How very Buddhist of you! This same sentence stays up while the images of the bugs changes slightly.
Same sentence, only with a series of images of dead(?) goldfish. Er, OK!
See! More dead goldfish!
A swirling image of something. Impossible to tell what. Maybe the DHARMA logo? Who knows!Well, there's part 1. Honestly there's nothing really ground breaking or earth-shattering here. Maybe next time though. Look for part two in the morning!

ok, well as for the change part Carl was trying to run away from the others in the first episodes of the season, so they're obviously sticking him in here to try and change him, and all the otehr pictures with the change title are old things that have changed over time. The last picture is not of anything swirling, but of a fluorescent lightbulb

IMHO, The last picture in the series posted, to me, looks like one of those energy saving fluorescent bulbs and the center is the place where the pins go into the starter (or base) of the bulb.
