Without going into too much spoilage,

Walt's character will be explored, which must mean that he'll be returning or at least the Michael/Walt boat-bound adventure will be visited.

The polar bear and the monster will return, which makes sense if Walt is returning also.  The monster and the smoke are, in fact, the same thing (there goes my theory!).

If you're like me and not all that particularly interested or able to follow the goings-on of the alternate-reality LOST Experience, then this is for you.

The game will supposedly hold many informing spoilers for Season 3...

We are being told that The Lost Experience (TLE) at this point will span
5 Acts, and I suspect we are, as of 7/28, about at the midpoint of the
entire webmaze.  Basically, we've been finding clues to unlock an
online story of mystery and intrigue which gives background to The
Hanso Foundation. 

Scroll to the end of these posts if you
don't want to read the whole story, and just want to read a quick
summary of connections to LOST and potential spoilers.

I've only just skimmed through this, but it looks to have A LOT of juicy info that may or may not be relevant to the upcoming season.  I'm going back to read this in depth now.

OK.  I know I'll have that much more of a reason to watch now.

The Lost Blog reports that in addition to Elizabeth Mitchell and Rodrigo Santoro, Natasha Henstridge of Species (among others) notoriety will be signing up as well.  No details are available but I'll be there.  Bells optional.

Elizabeth Mitchell has
joined the cast of ABC's hit drama "Lost" as a possible new
love interest for Matthew Fox's character, sources said.

So...um.  I'm kind of troubled by news like this because it could mean one of two things:  1) Jack will become "involved" with one of the Others, or 2) The writers will be introducing an "off island" character for the sole purpose of giving Jack a love interest.

A third and more palatable option would be as a character in a flashback, but I'm not betting on it.  I would hate for LOST to degrade into yet another soap-opera.  That we don't need.

See! I knew it! Check it out...oh.  Right.

A first glimpse from the big comic-con of the up-and-coming LOST figurines from McFarlane.  I don't know if I'd call them toys or not by the looks of them.

In typical McFarlane style they are excellent likenesses.  Interesting is the "Shannon w/ Island Map."  It's unclear if its the map on the hatch door or something else altogether....

NOT BAD, not my cup-o-tea, but not bad either.  Be SURE to check out these photos.

Yikes! A lot of juicy info is getting spilled recently.  This from Scifi....

Another confirmation about the "season 2.5" nature of the first block of episodes, and...

Reportedly the alternate reality "Lost Experience" will reveal the true meaning behind the mysterious "4 8 15 16 23 42" sequence of numbers.  (So this stuff is tied to the show!? CRAP! Now I might have to start paying attention!)

And.... Co-creator and exec Damon Lindelof is letting out that season three (assuming this means the second part?) will focus on the "others" and will take the show in yet another direction.

I've been thinking about this whole "season 2.5" thing, and I'm wondering if they'll focus on the Penny/Desmond/E-Mag burst storyline during these episodes, and save the others-stuff for the later shows.

Rodrigo Santoro, the "Brazilian Tom Cruise" will be joining LOST.  More on Mr. Santoro.

So what character will he be playing? The PR doesn't say.  One of the others?  One of Penelope's gang?  A Flashback "regular"?

Wow! Comic-con was the place to be today apparently.

Probably Spoilers to follow... you have been warned!!!

The Desmond/Penny story will be explored, as well as Locke's affliction, Libby's stint in the asylum, and the island's healing powers.  Reportedly Kate's love life will be expanded on....

The first six episodes will serve as a six-part "miniseries" to wrap up season two.  Might we call this season 2.5 when its all said and done?  Then things will begin to focus more on "the others", whatever that means.

And apparently they saw fit to tie this silly "alternate reality" bit into their Q&A session, with the appearance of the infamous "Rachel Blake" speaking out against The Hanso Foundation.  *yawn*

Argh! Say it ain't so!  After a short "first run" of 6-7 episodes there will be a 13 (yes *thirteen*) week break, due to production scheduling.

I feel like Stimpy at the end of an episode... "What'll we do til then?!"  And I'm not simonizing my shorts.  Probably.
