LOST: Further Instructions [SPOILERS]
Now that's what I'm talkin' about! LOST at its best, there. And as usual, we delve deeper into the characters, the plot, and get a lot of new questions to ponder....
Plenty of spoilers to be found here, and this recap and examination is proving to be rather long, so fair warning....

Awaiting "Further Instructions"
Now, say what you will about our recent adventures with the Others inside the mysterious Hydra station... I'm waiting for this one!
There are a few things that happened last season that we need to come back to.
The fates of Locke, Eko and Desmond are revealed after the implosion of the hatch. At least that's the official synop. anyway. I think this story is more important to the core of the story at the moment, at least in terms of finishing up and closing the door (ha!) on the Swan.

The Lost Blog - Fallen
Some interesting observations on "The Glass Ballerina" over at The Lost Blog.
I missed the parallel between Jae and the statue altogether, nice catch. As for being pushed? I wondered the same thing, being how he fell right onto Jin's car as he was getting in. Sort of a "do the job right" kind of message from Mr. Paik.

Well, the title was explained in basically the first shot. What we have here is a tale of truth and consequences. We get thrown a few subtle clues along the way, too. Ye hast been warned, there be spoilers here!

Pre-Show, "The Glass Ballerina"
Sayid places Sun and Jin's lives in danger while trying to locate Jack, while Jack gets a tempting offer from his captors. From what I can gather from the guest-starring cast (a lot of Korean sounding names), and the description, it looks like the flashback this time will be related to Jin or Sun (or both) in some way. I'm not sure what the title is referring to. I'm sure that will be made clear, though.
There's a spoiler-filled (maybe bogus) synopsis here: The Glass Ballerina - Episode Synopsis that may offer some clues, but I won't talk about it in detail for spoilage reasons!
From the previews we know that Ben finds out about the sailboat, so he was unaware of it before. Seems kind of odd that he wouldn't know about it. It's not like its hard to spot a 30' boat or anything! It's only been there, what, three.. four years? Could be they didn't stray far from home until the plane crashed?
Sayid (sorry I've been using the other spelling all this time!) is coming up with a plan to rescue the three captives.
We will go back to Jack, Kate, and Sawyer in this episode. Apparently we still don't get to see what's happened back at the Swan/beach yet. That part interests me more, the conflict between Locke and Eko, and how Desmond plays into that.
We'll see tonight! As always I'll post a review/roundup once its done...

Congrats In Order
...to Dominic and Evangeline. Sure you've heard by now. Hopefully it works out and doesn't lead (as it sometimes does) to trouble on the set!

Here's Another Question....
So was Kelvin (the guy manning the Swan station before Desmond arrived) one of the "Others", one of a separate group of Dharma employees (the "bad guys?"), or just a hapless pawn (like Desmond) in all of this?
Discuss! Has this already been established and I'm just out of the loop?

The Hydra, and Constellation Theory
So I set out to find out more about the Hydra, and why there should be a DHARMA station with that name. I wanted to know the significance of the Hyrda and how it might fit into the big picture.
Now let me start off by saying that I don't frequent a lot of the 'theorist' forums/boards. I'm not well-versed in the many-theories-of-LOST that are out there. Sure I've come up with some doozies(sp?) that make sense for a while until something happens to prove me wrong. So if I'm spewing forth junk that you've heard before just ignore me (I'm used to it!
