My Head Hurts

After reading this one.  The Doc keeps one-upping himself!  At least we get a final confirmation that we won't be seeing any more of Nikki (which is sort of too bad) and Paulo (um, gee, thats, um, too bad.)

Although I think I have to disagree with a couple of his theories...
The Island natives among the Others were originally aspects of Smokey The Monster that gained independent life.
Yeah, like that one.  "Occam's Razor" comes to mind.  If the DHARMA Initiative's presence on the island goes back far enough, say to the early-mid 60's (dating some of the station equipment, particularly the Pearl and Hydra), then its perfectly plausible that Ben is just the kid of one (OK, two) of the original DI participants.  To say he's some sort of manifestation is just "out there."
