Go Speed Racer

It appears that Matthew Fox will spend his summer hiatus from Lost behind the wheel, having entered final negotiations to join the Wachowski brothers' siblings' live-action update of the 1960s 'toon Speed Racer. According to the Hollywood Reporter, Fox will play Racer X, the mysterious alter ego of Speed's older brother.
Blech.  Speed Racer.  *Shudder*  Ick.

There some things which should be left dead.  Speed Racer is in the top 10.
