I agree - a mouth dropping wow show. I had to watch the show alone as the rest of family was away. Oh how I wanted to tell them what happened, uh still do.

Wow, what a great show on so many levels. It was jam packed with clues and solved mysteries from the past! Welcome back Walt!! The ending was a little depressing knowing that Jack is still not happy; even after being rescued. But I am sure there is more to this than meets the eye at this point. It does explain why most of the story is about him. He has to figure out the mystery of this island. Ben is way too weird I wish they would just kill him off; sad and sick. Overall, a very WTF kind of show; loved it!!

It WAS a great show, lots of solved things...but lots of remaining mysteries too. Like WHO died???? AND why was Jack reffering to his father in the flash-backs as thoguh he were still alive??? Perhaps those were Jack's premonitions as he was going along to the radio tower??? Just a thought. I'm sad about Charlie...Maybe he's not dead???

My guess, the person in the coffin is Ben. Jack described him to the parlor manager as "neither family nor friend". The coffin looked small and Ben is a short guy, plus I can see no one showing up for him. What a great twist that would be. My thought is Jack is real messed up, wants to get back to the island but can't, and the death of Ben further shows him that it is impossible. Great writing and story planning in this show!
