I was only able to catch about the first 20 minutes or so of last night's double header, and noticed a few interesting things that make sense in retrospect, or I didn't notice before...
- During the scene where Shannon and her step-mom are standing in a doorway in the hospital, I think I saw a scrub-wearing Dr. Jack hurry quickly around them through the doorway. More "small world"-ness!
- When Rose and Hurley are hanging clothes, Rose says about Shannon, "It must be hard losing the only person you care about on the island." To which Hurley gives an interesting look.
- Locke says to Claire about the baby, (paraphrased) "Babies like feeling constrained, its not until we grow up we begin to desire freedom." I wonder if this was a bit of foreshadowing about Locke and his viewpoints on the hatch(es)? Maybe Locke forced the hand and has made everyone "grow up" and move past the constraints of the hatch?
- Shannon's "Walt vision". He is standing before her, drenched in water, and says something like "I swallowed it." OK, so now that we know Walt and Michael are out on the ocean in that little boat, maybe this is a vision of Walt's demise out there? And if its not, what does it mean? Additionally, we see Shannon drinking a lot of water, and she was going to get up to go get some more water when she saw this vision. Curious.
Would have watched more but I lost the coin toss for control of the TV, and "Blade: The Series" started last night on Spike, so I had to watch that instead!
