LOST Season Three: You'll Laugh, You'll Cry, You'll Say "WTF?!"

At the season 2 DVD-release party (woo! :-/ ) more tidbits about the upcoming season, most notable:

The hatch is apparently "no more" in the form we are used to seeing it.
The "split season" was confirmed again.
This season (presumably the second half) will be more about "The Others" and "their mission, their agenda, whatever that might be."
"There'll be a lot of love. There'll be a lot of comedy,'' Burk said.
"But we can never forget that these people are in a very dark place.''
